What is egusi?

+

Egusi is the seed of the Cucumeropsis Mannii melon, a staple ingredient across West and Central African cooking. It's prized for its nutty flavor and its density of plant-based protein, and is most commonly ground into soups and stews.

What's the difference between Whole and Ground Egusi?

+

Whole Egusi is the unbroken seed, ideal if you want to grind it fresh yourself or toast it whole for snacking and salads. Ground Egusi is milled to a fine flour, ready to use straight away in soups, smoothies, or baking.

Is NutriLion Egusi USDA Organic certified?

+

Not yet; organic certification testing is currently underway. NutriLion Seeds is Kosher Certified, gluten free, and suitable for vegan, keto, and paleo diets.

How much protein is in a serving?

+

NutriLion Ground Egusi provides 12g of plant-based protein per 30g serving, alongside iron, magnesium, zinc, and vitamin E.

How should I store my egusi seeds?

+

Keep the resealable bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For longer freshness, especially with ground egusi, storing in the refrigerator after opening is a good idea.

Are there any allergens I should know about?

+

Egusi seeds are naturally gluten free. As with any seed product, always check the packaging for the most current allergen and facility information before consuming.

Where do your seeds come from?

+

We partner directly with independent, regenerative farms in Cameroon. Every batch is sun-dried, cleaned, and shelled the traditional way before it's packed and shipped.

Where can I buy NutriLion Seeds?

+

NutriLion Seeds are sold exclusively through our Amazon Store, with Prime shipping available.

Do you offer wholesale or bulk orders?

+

Yes. Reach out through our contact page and mention "wholesale" in your message, and we'll follow up with details.
